The Keys to the Kingdom are given in the a place where this much idol worship of all kinds of gods – emphasis on the little g.
In Matthew Chapter 16, Jesus asked Peter a question that He had not asked until this particular time in this particular setting. The question,
Whom do you say that IAM?
The region of Caesarea Philippi was called the Gates of Hell.
The next time you are having problems with your situations, and circumstances obeying you. The next time you are having problems with your region obeying you. You tell whatever it is that’s hindering, be it circumstances or situations or the region you are called to, that I AM has given you the keys to this region and adversaries cannot prevail against it.
Matthew 16:15-19 (NKJV)
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.”
